v1.8
We’re excited to introduce version 1.8 of K SYSTEM, bringing major improvements in tracking precision, new compatibility with leading audio processors, and enhanced recording capabilities.
This update uses 2D skeleton for better precision as default, introduces an early 3D skeleton beta, and expands OSC integration.
Additionally, we now support Yamaha AFC, Flux SPAT Revolution, and Meyer Sound Spacemap Go, allowing seamless interaction with these powerful audio systems.
On the recording side, .kramera
now support h264 encoding to provide better compression as a beta feature.
Plus, with the 2025 AI update, Kore servers gain even greater stability and tracking accuracy. Dive into the details below!
Kratos features
Skeleton
- You can output 3D skeleton pose via OSC using the corresponding Action.
- You can now record 3D skeleton in
.kramera
files.
Compatibility with new audio processors
This update brings the compatibility with 3 additional audio processor systems:
- Yamaha - AFC (image editor, image processor, image controller, DME7, DME10)
- Flux - SPAT Revolution
- Meyer Sound - Spacemap Go
You can now send Target positions to these third-party systems with the corresponding Actions.
New and revised action scripts
- 3D skeleton output via OSC
- send Target position to new sound processors
- send OSC messages when Targets/Trackers are inside an Area or not
- minor fixes
The complete updated Script list is available here.
Recording
- You can now record the
.kramera
files compressed in h264, bringing the size of the files to a few megabits (This is a beta feature and only works on Kore servers for now). - You can now better choose what is recorded in the file: Targets position, Trackers position, 3D Skeleton poses.
- You can now choose the recording frequency of the items listed above, as well as shift their recording compared to recorded images.
Other tweaks and improvements
- Target patcher: the sliders show their value when hovering over them.
- It is now possible to restart the Kore software from KratOSC.
Kore
Skeleton
- 2D skeleton is now a Kore default feature, greatly improving the precision and stability of body tracking.
- The first draft of the 3D skeleton is here! You can use this feature in Kratos (3D skeleton is still a work in progress and in the beta phase).
2025 AI
Kore servers can now be updated with the 2025 AI.
This brings many improvements in the precision and stability of the tracking thanks to the skeleton detection, and is able to spawn Trackers more quickly.
The 2025 model was trained on all the data we aquired in 2024, improving greatly our box and skeleton detection models.
