v1.7

We're excited to announce the latest update for Kratos : V1.7! This release brings several powerful new features and improvements. Many bugs have been fixed and the overall stability of the software has been improved.

Kratos features

Simulator behavior

The simulator is now disabled by default, but automatically enables when a .kramera file is loaded. This intends to smoothen the user experience and avoid unwanted simulation when using real Kapta devices.

PosiStageNet Input

It is now possible to input PSN with a PSN module. Kratos will emulate a Tag input for each PSN tracker received via the PSN module's input.

PosiStageNet offsets

You can now offset all targets outputed by a PosiStageNet module. See the PosiStageNet documentation for more information.

Record Targets and Trackers

Targets and Trackers position can now be recorded in your .kramera files. This allows you to record the tracking data and replay it later. This feature is useful for debugging or for creating a show without having to connect to a real Kapta. The toggles are available in the "Recording" part of the Show Explorer.

NDI Output

Kratos now can output the camera feeds it receives over NDI. This feature is useful for integrating the camera feeds into other systems that embed NDI inputs.

User pages

Kratos has now 2 new pages for an improved customisation of your show. These pages are emty when creating new shows, allowing you to use them as you wish.

Documentation quick access button

The embedded documentation is now accessible directly via the dedicated button of the sidebar.

Virtual numpad in the calibration window

A virtual numpad is now present in the calibration window, allowing you to quickly input the dimensions of the calibration rectangle.

Modules parameters control via KratOSC

We made the modules parameters accessible through OSC via the KratOSC module. This allows you to control every modules parameters from any OSC capable software. This also applies to the PosiStageNet offsets which can now be remotely controlled.

See the KratOSC documentation for more information.

Action updates

Many actions have been updated or rewritten to remove unnecessary parameters and improve the user experience.

Target and Trackers color field access for Action

The color parameter of Trackers and Targets can now be accessed through the action engine. This allows you to output them via OSC.

Script update functionnality

The Scripts present in your library can now be updated with their latest version embeded in your current Kratos version.

Timecode improvements

The timecode part has been improved :

  • It is now possible to record all the assets of .kramera files synchronized with timecode (Kaptas videos feeds, Tags, Targets and Trackers position)
  • The simulator can now replay the .kramera files synchronized with timecode
  • Kratos can simulate a virtual timecode to replay the files without an external timecode source

Cameras gain and exposure controls

Control of gain and exposure time for Visible and NIR cameras is now accessible outside of Dev mode in the Show Ewplorer view.
